Virtual Fall Congress

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting state and federal guidelines restricting large gatherings, the 2020 Fall Congress scheduled for November 6-8 at the Grandover in Greensboro will no longer be held as originally planned. We are once again holding a VIRTUAL Congress, offering 14 hours of live-streamed, COPE-approved continuing education from the comfort and safety of your homes!

General information is provided below. For complete details visit our Fall Congress registration website

Dates: Friday, November 6 - Sunday, November 8, 2020

Location: Online, from the comfort and safety of your home or office!

Continuing Education: Earn up to 14 hours of COPE Approved/NC Certified Credit! NCOS Members will also have the opportunity to earn an additional hour of general credit for attending the online NCOS Business Meeting, open to NCOS members only. Click here for the full agenda!

Practice Management Series Add-On:
As a special add-on opportunity to the Virtual Fall Congress program, Dr. Rebecca Wartman will be presenting a series of three evening lectures geared towards both ODs and paraoptometrics/staff for a total of four hours of CE. This exciting series is complimentary for NCOS Members and Other State Affilate/AOA Members that register for Virtual Fall Congress, as well as their paraoptometrics/staff! The series add-on for non-members will be $50/person (for each OD and para/staff person). All ODs will have the opportunity to add this series during registration for Virtual Fall Congress.

*If you do NOT plan on attending the Virtual Fall Congress, but want to participate in the Practice Management Series, you may register for it as a standalone option.

Speakers: Hear from seven different OD speakers on a range of topics!

Virtual Course Information: Instructions for downloading and logging in to the virtual platform will be sent to all registrants prior to the event, as well as separate links for each course on the agenda.

All courses will count as LIVE, COPE-approved credit, per ARBO’s temporary rules modification in place during the pandemic, here. These courses will be presented live and will be interactive, so they must be viewed in real-time (no recordings will be offered for credit).
